PLEASE NOTE: COVID-19 Safety Protocol Review Process

For Fully Vaccinated Companies (NEW!):

  1. Employers of fully vaccinated companies must sign the SDC COVID-19 Safety Plan Rider which requires the employer to affirm they have implemented the necessary layers of protection against the spread of COVID-19 in their workplace. This rider must be signed by the employer and returned to SDC along with the appropriate contract. For the SDC COVID-19 Safety Plan Rider click here.

For All Other Companies:

  1. Employers will continue to follow the previous safety protocol review process.
  2. Employers must submit and SDC must clear a comprehensive Covid-19 Workplace Safety Plan before SDC Members may provide any in-person services under an SDC contract (including auditions, pre-production meetings, rehearsal, etc.).
  3. The SDC COVID-19 Safety Worksheet must be submitted to Contracts@SDCweb.org for each production prior to contracting but in no event later than four (4) weeks prior to rehearsals. A theatre/producer’s comprehensive COVID-19 Safety Plan must accompany the first Worksheet submitted for clearance. For subsequent productions, only the Worksheet is required.
  4. If cleared, SDC will authorize an SDC contract for the activity and permit its Members to provide in-person services under that contract for that specific production/project only.
