Kristy Cummings

As Director of Contract Affairs, Kristy Cummings manages the negotiation, enforcement, and administration of SDC agreements as well as the department’s research and analysis, which supports the Union’s collective bargaining positions as well as the strategic growth of the Union. She is the primary administrator of the SDC-Broadway League Agreement and continues to be at the forefront of the Union’s organizing efforts. She has contributed to many SDC publications over the years including SDC Journal, On the Edge: A Next Stage Report, and Return to Stage and Performing Arts Playbook. In addition, Kristy serves on the SDC-League Pension and Health Funds Board of Trustees. She earned her M.F.A in Performing Arts Management from Brooklyn College in New York, NY and her B.A. in Theatre and Communication from Fairfield University in Fairfield, CT. She has worked in the Contract Affairs department since 2012. Kristy lives in New Jersey with her husband Tim and their three children, Connor, Nolan, and Quinn. When not at work, she can be found leading Quinn’s Girl Scout Troop, cheering on the sidelines of Nolan’s football and soccer games, and enjoying all things Star Wars and Legos with Connor.
