On April 15, 2013, the new development provision in the LORT Agreement took effect. Here are the basics of the new provision:

• Covers development activity (readings and workshops) of 1-14 days when Actors’ Equity actors are involved.
• The theatre will contribute $15 to your health and $10 to your pension for each day you work.
• You will not need to sign anything. The theatre will submit a notification form to SDC and SDC will contact you to confirm the activity.
