Producers wishing to hire SDC Members for commercial productions in theatres with 100-499 seats outside NYC must use the Regional Commercial Agreement (RCA). This is a promulgated agreement, not collectively bargained.
Producers must notify SDC of this activity and post a bond with SDC no later than two weeks prior to the commencement of rehearsals. Please contact SDC for the necessary bond documents, as well as a filing copy of the RCA form contract (a link to a sample form contract is below). If the bond or fully executed contracts are not received by the first rehearsal, SDC will not allow its member(s) to go into rehearsal.
