Jason A. Sedgwick is a seasoned theatre arts administrator and company manager with over eight years of experience across nonprofit, regional, and commercial theatre. Originally from Connecticut, Jason’s first role was as a Heart Child in Alice in Wonderland, joyfully shouting, “Croquet, I wanna play croquet!” before detouring into pastry arts. A graduate of The Culinary Institute of America, he trained under celebrated Meilleur Ouvrier de France (MOF) Chef Jacques Torres (Netflix’s Nailed It) before returning to theatre full-time.
He began his professional theatrical journey at Goodspeed Musicals, where he worked on over 25 productions—including the world premiere of Cyrano starring Peter Dinklage—and rose to Interim Company Manager. Jason has supported productions at all stages, from early development to national tours and Off-Broadway runs, notable credits include That Parenting Musical, Empire, Stranger Sings!, The Song of Bernadette, His Story, Emojiland, ¡Americano!, Rescue Rue, and A Turtle on a Fence Post. He has also held leadership roles at renowned cabaret venues The Green Room 42 and Chelsea Table + Stage. Now based in New York City, Jason is known for his collaborative leadership, attention to detail, and commitment to supporting artists at every stage of live entertainment.
