The SDC-Broadway League Agreement covers first-class commercial productions on Broadway, first-class sit-down productions outside New York City, first-class touring activity, including additional companies in the United States, Canada, and the British Isles, and all Broadway League development activity.
Effective January 1, 2024, Associate Directors and Choreographers are also covered under the SDC-Broadway League Agreement for productions on Broadway and in North America.
First-class productions produced by any Producer that is not a producing member of the Broadway League may be subject to further conditions of employment (e.g., security bond requirement).
The new SDC-Broadway League Agreement effective March 6, 2023 will be available shortly, however the current rate sheets are available for download below. The 2015-2019 agreement is available below for reference.
Each Collectively Bargained Agreement (CBA) is negotiated by a committee of Members with experience in the appropriate arena (e.g., Members with experience in LORT negotiate the SDC-LORT Agreement). They negotiate with a group of employers who represent management in that arena. The agreements generally last three to five years, and include minimum terms for compensation, property rights protections, working conditions, health and pension benefits, and the obligations of both the artists and employers. |
