A joint program of SDC and SDCF, The Director/Choreographer Network (DCN) provides a supportive and casual networking opportunity through its interactive panel and roundtable discussions. Each meeting includes an engaging facilitated discussion. Past panelists have included Kathleen Marshall, Michael Mayer, Rob Ashford, Ira Mont, Heather Cousins, Jerry Mitchell, Jill Cordle, Andrew Leynse and many other masters of the stage. The nature of the discussion allows participants to share knowledge, experiences and resources, while also gaining an understanding of the issues and processes of other artists. DCN’s attract a diverse group of artists from different backgrounds and career levels who stimulate lively and thought-provoking discussions filled with expert insights and practical information. Meetings are held regularly at 6:00pm on the last Tuesday of each month from September through June, and are open to everyone.
