SDC Journal’s mission is to give voice to an empowered collective of directors and choreographers working in all jurisdictions and venues across the country, encourage advocacy, and highlight artistic achievement.

Ruben Santiago-Hudson shares powerful insights in an interview with director Awoye Timpo; Joseph Haj’s rehearsal room for Shakespeare’s History Plays at the Guthrie is illuminated by Kate Pitt; Lucy Gram considers Zelda Fichandler’s enduring legacy; and Sonya Tayeh talks with Camden Gonzales about the gift of endless possibility.
