JoAnn M Hunter is a choreographer/director. JoAnn’s credits include over 25 first class productions on Broadway, the West End, Australia and Asia. To name a few, ALW’s Cinderella/Bad Cinderella, Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor…, School of Rock, Spring Awakening (assoc.), and Thoroughly Modern Millie (assoc.)  Most recent in NY, Love Life at City Center Encores. She has directed Native Gardens by Karen Zacarias, her first play. Directed and/or choreographed Anyone Can Whistle at Carnegie Hall, 50 Years Of Broadway at The Kennedy Center. Dir/chor: The Little Mermaid, UnMasked, Cinderella, Annie, Oliver and Curtains at PMP. In January the will be directing a concert version of JO The Little Women Musical at the Royal Drury Lane in London. She is in early development for Yasuke, The Legend Of The Black Samurai, Hua Mulan, Goin Hollywood, Birds of New York by Sophie B Hawkins and The Phoenix.  Starting out as a performer, and then dance captain, later an associate, she has a great perspective and personal experience from “both sides of the table.”
