As Assistant to the Executive Director, Miko DiGiacomo-Castillo supports Executive Director Laura Penn and the SDC Executive Board. Miko steps into her role after six years building social impact partnerships and workplace giving programs across industries. Miko specialized in corporate partnerships, employee engagement, and fundraising. Miko has been a house manager at an experimental political theater in NYC, a camp counselor with children and adults with disabilities in upstate New York, and the community outreach lead for a congressional special election campaign in New Jersey. She graduated with her B.S. in Media, Culture, and Communications at New York University after transferring from Passaic County Community College. Miko is an alumni of NYU’s Fellowship for Emerging Leaders in Public Service.
