The SDC-Broadway League Agreement covers first-class commercial productions on Broadway, sit down productions outside New York City, first-class touring activity and all Broadway League developmental activity. First-class productions produced by any Producer that is not a producing member of the Broadway League may be subject to further conditions of employment (e.g. security bond requirement). The current SDC/Broadway League Agreement is in effect September 1, 2015- August 31, 2019. (Current Agreement will be available for download shortly. Expired Agreement available below for reference.)

Each Collectively Bargained Agreement (CBA) is bargained by a committee of members with experience in the appropriate arena (e.g., members with experience in LORT negotiate the LORT contract). They negotiate with a group of producers who represent management in that arena. The agreements generally last three to five years, and include terms of compensation, property rights protections, working conditions and the obligations of both Artist and Employer.
